Our Security Patrol monitors 911 and will often be the first responders due to their close proximity and familiarity with the neighborhood.

Paces Security Patrol

All neighbors are invited to join the Paces Civic Association (PCA) to support continued Security Patrol protection, enabling Paces Neighborhood to maintain our low crime rate as compared to other areas of the City of Atlanta. The more members we have, the more hours our officers can patrol our neighborhood.

During the hours the officers are on duty, the Paces Security Patrol will:

■ Monitor 911 via police radio and will respond immediately when on patrol.
■ Monitor and investigate suspicious vehicles and persons.
■ Are off-duty Atlanta Police Officers who can - and do - make arrests.

Security Benefits:

■ Security Hotline – When our patrol officers are on duty, they carry our private cellphone with them at all times so that PCA members can contact and communicate with our officers.

■ Out of Town Notices – Let our officers know when you will be out of town. They will check your home twice daily and bring your newspapers and lightweight packages to a side door.

■ Security Decals – Each PCA member is given 3 decals to display on your mailbox and automobiles for easy identification for the patrol officers. Additional decals can be purchased for $5/each. Officers have a list of all current PCA members.

■ Security Updates – Receive security Updates via email with local crime data and other security-related news.

■ Free Home Security Assessment - A Paces Security Officer will perform a free assessment of your home, making suggestions for enhancing the security on and around your property to help assure your family's safety.

■ Added Safety – The Security Patrol adds to the safety and value of everyone’s home within the boundaries of Paces Neighborhood; however, current patrol hours can be maintained - or extended - only with your support.
